Daicel Chiral Technologies (China) Co., Ltd. was founded on October, 2007, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daicel Chemical Industry, Ltd. of Tokyo, Japan and a company specializing in enantiomeric separation products and services. Daicel provides custom separation services for companies or institutes who wish to develop or scale up a chiral separation process. Fast production of enantiomers with enantiomeric purity (ee.> 99%) and quantities produced ranges from milligrams to kilograms can be efficiently and economically achieved by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) with the chiral columns in Daicel based on polysaccharide derivatives invented by Prof. Yoshio Okamoto.
